We are looking for an ambitious, heart-led Head of People who will have the unique opportunity to join as one of the early employees and have a direct impact on BEAT81's most important assets: our people. You will own and develop our people strategy, including both hiring and talent development. You will be in charge of leading and building out the people team, consisting of talent acquisition, people operations and office management. You will be a sparring partner for the management team on all matters people & culture and will work towards making BEAT81 an amazing place to work.
Sharpening the definition of the working culture at BEAT81, and developing the ideal way of working together as an international team
Defining our talent strategy and ensure we attract the brightest minds to join us on our mission to revolutionise fitness
Implement new and improve existing talent & people processes
Leading strategic people initiatives, such as the implementation of a great onboarding experience, design and roll-out of new employer branding and launching learning & development initiatives
Collecting and measuring quantitative & qualitative data to understand people's happiness and engagement in the company
You are fluent in English. German and other European languages are a big plus
You have relevant senior work experience in Talent/People, preferably in the start-up space and are experienced in scaling an organisation to over 100 employees across different countries and labour laws by acting as a sparring partner for the executive team
Proven track record in scaling an organisation, developing and executing talent strategy and respective processes across multiple countries and labour laws, setting up talent management processes (performance reviews/feedback, employer branding, comp & benefits, org structure/hiring plan, training & development, perks & benefits etc.)
You are experienced in setting up a light-weight talent architecture with respective tooling (HR management, performance management & ATS
You deeply care about creating and nurturing a great company culture and candidate experience - making a positive impact on other people drives you
You have gained hands-on recruiting and/or people operations experience in previous roles
You are emphatic and solution-oriented, and a team player
You are a strategic thinker who is data- and process-driven
